PABBI Conference

The First Annual PABBI Conference will be held at Toftrees Resort in State College on November 7 & 8, 2012.  This will be 24 hours of PA Inn-formation for PA Innkeepers.  Check out the schedule and register now!

Hooray!! The bylaws are approved!

After many hours and lots of hard work, the PABBI B.O.D. has approved the final draft of the Pennsylvania Association of  Bed & Breakfast Inns bylaws. Once the lawyer has put his stamp of approval on them, they will be official. Stay tuned for news of PABBI on the road and our 1st official conference.

Getting ready for Mid-Atlantic Conference

Some of the PABBI board members will be at MAC and look forward to meeting any PA innkeeper to bring you up-to-date on what is happening. We will have our power point running and have membership applications available. See me (Kathy Vogt) at MAC.

Our First Association Promotion of PABBI

Yesterday was a first for PABBI, Kathy went to Brandywine Valley to present PABBI to a group of interested innkeepers. It was informative for Kathy as well as the innkeepers, they had great ideas and input that will certainly be discussed by the board. www.bvbb.com We (the board) look forward to visiting all B&B Associations or by county to present this unique (to PA) organization.

Pennsylvania Association of Bed and Breakfast Inns!!!!!

Our new B&B association started as a "seed of thought" in May of 2011 and through the work of some very busy PA innkeepers, it has come to fruition. The new trade association for Inns and B&Bs becomes official effective today, January 1, 2012!!!!!! 

This new association will benefit PA keepers of small lodging properties through public awareness, education, networking, and lobbying efforts.  If you own a B&B, Inn, Farmstay, or small lodge in PA, we want you to be a part of this organization. Watch this blog for more information on membership and opportunities for participation.  We wish you all the very best in 2012!
